Please emphasize PLACE when merging

The most common error I see in merging is not comparing the place of the event. For example: Mary Ann and Lucy Lowe were christened on 25 Dec 1803 in Wolverhampton, Staffordshire, England. Their parents are Joseph Lowe and Ann. William Lowe was also christened on 25 Dec 1803 and his parents names are Joseph Lowe and Ann. However, he was christened in Macclesfield, Cheshire, which is 61 miles away from Wolverhampton. It was impossible for this to happen in 19th century England. These are not the same family!! I come across this problem all of the time, where parents have common names and children are merged into one family from multiple different places - even across an ocean. Please figure out some way to have users compare the places of the children's births before merging. :) Thank you for having a place for me to share.

They have included places when checking for inconsistencies on a person:

You will see the same place checking for the parents and the grandparents of this person on the merge screen.

However, there is not any checking of the birth places of this person's children which is what would be required to pick up the problem you are seeing. William was not being merged with either of his sisters, obviously, so if the families got combined in a merge, it would have been when merging the parents.

Sounds like a reasonable addition to compare the birth places of all the children when someone is working on merging two people and mark inconsistencies under each child's name the way it is for the parents and grandparents of the person:
