Can I search my own family tree for a country?

I've looked for this answer. Sorry if it's already answered. I want to know if anyone in my own tree is from a specific country. Can I do that? It seems like it's be a given that this would be possible.

The term "my own tree" has many possible interpretations. But for one possible definition (you and 6 generations of direct ancestors) this is very simple.

Go to the Fan Chart view for your tree, and use the Options button to select 7 generations, then choose Country. That will color the background for each person, according to their birth country, and you can easily see where those 127 people are from.

Starting from that fan chart, you could show a fan chart for each of your 8 great-grandparents, and then you would have seen up to 1023 ancestors.
