Record Inconsistencies
I have noticed inconsistencies within a specific record however I can't access the scan to verify which are the correct dates. Could someone else see if they can access the record and let me know what's what? I'd appreciate any help.
The specific entry in the record is about the Baptism of one Gustav Carl Bartsch. In the citation the date is listed as 30 Dec 1849 but in the overview of the information of the entry it's listed as 1940 and the date of birth is displayed as 1933. In the editing history the original dates are 30 Dec 1849 for the Baptism and 23 Dec 1849 for the DoB. Looking at the information on the rest of the family these dates make much more sense but maybe there was a family with extremely similar names living in the same region a century later and the newer dates are actually correct.

https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:6FCR-H9RR is available to view only at a FamilySearch Center. I go about once a week; I can put it on my list for next visit. The date "changes" would appear to be from the autostandardizing routine.

I'm at my FSC today, and I just viewed the two records. The inconsistency in dates seems to have been repaired. https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:6FCR-H9RR:

I've sent you a copy of the record by private message. Look for a red number by the envelope at the top right.
Hope this helps.
