Need help in researching relatives
Hello all,
I’m researching my great-grandfather and looking for help locating any baptismal or civil birth record for:
- Full Name: Adolfo Santos Martínez
- Estimated Birth Year: 1904
- Believed Birthplace: Puerto Rico
- Spouse: Eulalia Santos Morales
- Possible Father’s Name: “Abad Santos” (based on oral family history — unconfirmed)
Despite extensive searching, I’ve found no record confirming his birth or parentage. The name “Abad Santos” does not appear in any records I could locate, and I’m starting to think it may be a misremembered or symbolic name.
I would greatly appreciate help with:
- Searching unindexed baptismal registers for Santa Isabel and surrounding towns (1902–1908).
- Advice on how to access civil registry books for this time period.
- Suggestions on any possible alternate spellings or name combinations that could help my search.
