Is this just a glitch? or were people abusing it or something?

Yes, I can't even do any reviewing because of this. There are too many words and numbers that need to be designated as Not a Person.

Same problem. The Not a Person button isn't working. Why?

@barbaragailsmith1 and @HancockDarrellOlsen1 I found a workaround for the Not A Person button when there is a Name in the same sentence or line: first Add Highlights on the Name(s) then Detach the highlighted Non-Name as per my finished example:

    Great idea!

Many times there is no name in the same sentence, and sometimes several words on a preprinted form (in sections where there are no names) are highlighted.

I've been selecting 'unsure' in cases when I have no other alternatives. Just so I can keep going without accepting something I know is wrong. It feels like a lazy solution, but if there is no other solution…

I was going to ask the same thing. This has been going on for a few days. I wish that somebody would comment on this. Sometimes, I feel that voices aren't being heard. We definitely need answers on this. Maybe it's one of the glitches that they are trying to figure out. I wish they had figured out all of these glitches before they changed the way we do indexing.

I think that there are far less people who are qualified to comment on the ai enhanced name gathering thing than we are used to having. Its a relatively new field, and the church may have yet to call a sufficient number of people to properly cover issues relating to it as well as people to work on raised issues. This will pass in time as the use of such tools becomes more common and we get a bigger network of people ready to help. Let us be patient until such time as they are ready to answer our questions.

@AnthonyHopkins5 There are at least 4-5 threads asking the same question. In the meantime these same documents will spin round and round all the folks who hit "unsure" over and over again. Most of us have better things to do with our time and we only want to bring it to the attention of the engineers or others who may be qualified to help.

Thank you for reporting this. We will send the issue in to be looked into. Thanks for your patience while we work towards a resolution.
