Why three reCaptcha "Are you Human" checkbox popups?
Now we have to check a box to open the site. Another before we enter our login information and finally a third when we click to pass our credentials to the backend. That is absurd. Please have someone re-think this.

@sc woz Have you tried on multiple networks, including mobile ones?

I also have had this problem every time I try to sign it. Often, I just abandon the effort — and my attempt to update my tree. I am all for security, but this is just over the top.

I realize that this is a somewhat older thread, but I wanted to note that I'm not seeing this at all. I'm on a wired network, however, running Windows 10 and an InPrivate session of the Edge browser, with no ad-blocking or pop-up blockers, if that helps any.

As reported in another discussion, I only encounter the general problem when I visit the Search category of Community and am not signed in. Usually just one occurrence per browser session, then no more checks. However, today I was subject to a second check. I hit the back arrow (I'm fairly sure I had been reading a Search post at the time) then had to check (tick) a box to confirm I was / am human.
Previously, the general issue was only experienced when I used a phone or tablet - recently, the checks have spread to when I'm using my PC.
I would stress that I have only ever been checked for being human when not signed in and, even then, only when going to the Search category of Community.

Given that the screens to confirm my humanity are the same across a number of sites, I would suggest that the software is bought in and is probably running permanently during our session. So I think that FamilySearch don't specify how many times we confirm or when - it's up to the supplier of the software.
I would have agreed with @Paul W that the check only appears when not already signed in - except that yesterday(?) I had an additional challenge after I'd already signed in. It's only happened once so what brought that on, I don't know.
