Hello everyone.

I've been doing some research into my family history and according to my paternal family, my Great Grandma was born in Jamaica to Cuban parents who migrated from Cuba to Jamaica sometime in the late 1800s. I have found reference to my great grandma as she was born in Jamaica but her mother and father seem to have been lost to time as I cannot find any help with the Cuban ancestry websites and sources that I've found. The name I'm looking for is Catherine Quillo, born in Cuba, likely died in Jamaica in the early 1900s.

Any ideas or information to be able to access Cuban census or birth records would be much appreciated.

    Good morning @Rickari538

I suggest you join and post in the Latin American and Caribbean Research group where users experienced in the area may be able to give you some guidance.

My 4th GGM was married in Spanish Florida in 1809. A site I have used for Cuba with some success is https://archive.slavesocieties.org/

Best of luck with the search.
