This morning I've started getting the ever helpful "Something Went Wrong Unfortunately, something went wrong and we are unable to display the record. Try refreshing the page, or come back later. Reload the page" message when clicking on most search results.

Some work - but not always - and some don't work at all.

For instance, the search:

https://www.familysearch.org/en/search/record/results?count=20&q.birthLikeDate.from=1801&q.birthLikeDate.to=1893&q.birthLikePlace=Sussex%2C%20England%2C%20United%20Kingdom&q.givenName=bertha&q.surname=chapman&c.collectionId=on&f.collectionId=1493745&f.collectionId=2563939&f.collectionId=1493747&f.collectionId=1538354&f.collectionId=2562194&f.collectionId=1888129&f.collectionId=1921547&f.collectionId=1865747

…gives results for all England & Wales censuses for Bertha Chapman born in Sussex between 1801 & 1893 (originally I was looking for 1891 to 1893, but extended it as a test for this error).

I get "Something Went Wrong" for all these results (it's only the top two I'm realy interested in at this point - I've tried the others as examples from different censuses):

https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:X7BG-HPX?lang=en (1911)

https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:XSJ8-J4P?lang=en (1901 - although on one try I did manage to see the transcript, so it's an intermittent problem of some kind)

https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:QF3H-43Z?lang=en (1891)

https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:VFD3-VHT?lang=en (1871)

https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:M75G-GW1?lang=en (1861)

https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:SGXQ-W4Z?lang=en (1851)

These two worked, but 1881 was very slow:

https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:MQVL-NVG?lang=en (1841)

https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:Q278-MDL8?lang=en (1881)

Has something been changed again? or is it just me?

Thanks!

Dave

I can verify that there was an outage very early this morning, Utah time.

Funnily enough, it's now working again… temporary blip? at my end? familysearch end? or somewhere in between?

@djb2 Yesterday, the site had a banner advising that it would undergo overnight maintenance and that things might not work as expected during that time.

I used to get it every time when I adjusted highlights. They fixed that, but now I get it at random (unpredictable) times. I haven't yet figured out a cause or pattern to them.
