    Hi @Leon Seeker.

    From the main page, select Search and then choose Records.

    Scroll down a bit to Find a Collection and type in 1910 United States Census. Click on that choice.

    You will then be on this page: https://www.familysearch.org/en/search/collection/1727033

    Now you can fill out the name and place of the person you are looking for.

    You can restrict it to Iowa by checking the box next to Place to match the location exactly. Alternatively, you can restrict it by clicking More Options and filling out the country and state.

    Yes, I was surprised to find you can't search on the 1910 collection for Iowa state, in the same way as with other collections, as illustrated:

    However, as @GFre shows, there is a simple "workaround". Following the instructions provided leads to the Search page required to complete your data, at

    https://www.familysearch.org/en/search/record/results?count=20&q.anyPlace=Iowa%2C%20United%20States&q.anyPlace.exact=on&f.collectionId=1727033

    @Paul W

    Technically, there wasn't a 1910 'Iowa Census', but a 1910 'United States Census' that Iowa was a part of. It's the 'nationwide, every ten years' census that is done at the federal level.

    The state censuses that appear when using the Iowa keyword were only done in Iowa. They were made and distributed by the state.

    That's why it won't show up if you search by state, because it's not technically at the state level.

    @GFre

    Thanks for clarifying that point! You might be able to tell I was trying to be helpful, without having any detailed knowledge on the subject of US censuses.

    Think I'll stick to responding to UK census queries in future, especially when the point has already received an adequate response, as indeed you had provided here!

    @Paul W No worries! Most people don't even know about the state censuses, which are a great resource, so it's always helpful to let others know about them. :)

    You can also first narrow your search to Iowa, from the main Search page, and then narrow to just the 1910 US census on the detailed search results page.
