Hello, I am trying to link my grandparents and great grandparents to my tree. They are no longer living and my mom gave me their ID numbers that are listed on her tree. When I enter the that information it says ID number not found. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this? When I look at my motherʻs tree some of the information is identical to mine but most are not. Any help will be appreciated, thank you.

On your mother's tree, are those grandparents and great-grandparents marked as deceased? I'm wondering if your mother created those profiles back when those people were alive, and she hasn't yet marked them as deceased on her tree. If that's the case, then she simply needs to mark them as deceased, and then you will be able to see those ID numbers.

If you already have profiles for any of these people with different ID numbers, you will need to merge them with the corresponding profiles your mother created, after she marks them as deceased.
