Problems accessing document at Affiliate Library
When I try to access an Irish Land Record, I receive the message: "Image Restricted. The images are viewable onsite at a Family Search Center or at an Affiliate Library". I went to an Affiliate Library in Chicago and logged on to THEIR computer (hard wired, no wireless, no VPN) and I received the same error message. The Family Search Centers are an hour drive away. Any one know why I can't access this message at the affiliate library even though Family Search says that I should be able to? Screenshot of message is below. Thank you

The rights shown on https://www.familysearch.org/platform/records/images/3:1:9Q97-YSVJ-31F indicate Center but not Affiliate access.
If you knock the 'extras' off the end of the OP's URL, so https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:9Q97-YSVJ-31F, you get the correct error message with Affiliate Library omitted:
@SerraNola is this perhaps a bug in the image viewer the OP was shown?

Your local affiliate may be having problems with its connection. My local affiliate has recently had some issues, and I could not view restricted images there. Fortunately, my FSC is only a couple of miles further away, so I went there instead.
I go about once a week. If you are unable to view, I'm happy to add your document to my list.

wow thank you. Although I was able to access other supposedly restricted documents (Kentucky) so I am wondering if the connection is the problem. The librarian told me this happens a lot — that the website sends people to an affiliate when in fact he (the librarian) thought the document they are looking for could actually be viewed only at a Family Search site.

An engineer has verified this is a bug and is looking for ways to debug. Thanks Mandy for providing data to clarify the problem.
