Long Wait on Viewing Memories

are other people having the same issue I am having
as to having to wait like a minute before I can do anything with FS memories
(as it wants to load the entire gallery - before it lets me do anything)
I used to be able to go directly to an album without waiting.

I hope if any others are having long load times, that they, too, can add to this conversation.
@Dennis J Yancey , I have one question….do you experience the same "long load time" when you use the "List View" in the Gallery? Can you tell me if you experience any difference between Grid or List view when it comes to your loading times…..
Thanks!

I have NOT noticed any real significant difference between list mode and grid mode
it can take me more than like 2 minutes to come back on my account.
(obviously it depends how many memories items one has)
I also notice some inconsistencies as to how the album list in the left gets populated
some time I see that it never populates until the entire gallery loads
other times I see the album list show up before the gallery completes - but not letting me click on a given album
other times I do see the album list and I am able to click on an album and access it - even before the gallery is complete.
The LAST scenario is what I prefer to see happen
BUT it seems to be inconsistent.0 -
one tip for others
If you do keep track of the URL for your albums - like in some sort of bookmark list - or in some external document - you CAN actually go diretcly to an album and not have to wait for the gallery to complete display. This is true whether you are the album owner or not.
This has been very helpful for me to get around the issue somewhat.0 -
Thanks for sharing your thoughts about Grid vs. List view. I will notify Engineers.
I will also move your comments about the "inconsistent loading views of the albums" to the Memories Feedback group. (Sorry about having to move so much over there. We just want to make sure we have all the correct information in one place for user to access.)
And thanks for the tip on how you use the album URL to get to albums easier. Nice.
