Fix Wrong indexed data?

Hello @Victoria Johnson_6
Assuming this is the right record https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:QGR3-2N4T?lang=en (please provide the URL another time) the answer for this collection would appear to be that you can edit it yourself.
Click through into the image, click the right arrow on Elin Maria on the Indexed Data list (right hand side of the screen), then click the pencil icon against what you want to edit.
Any further problems, just post again, hope it all works OK for you.

@Victoria Johnson_6 Yes, these records can be edited, but most all of the children have been indexed correctly with no surname so there is nothing to edit. The system is adding the mother's surname as you are seeing in Record Hints. Engineers are well aware and have been working to get this corrected.

My problem is the same as Victoria Johnson's The research help hints for Christina G88M-DRY born 22 August 1867 in Prestgården, Visnum, Värmland, Sweden show her name as Bengtsdotter. The household records listed as hints show her as a child without a last name. Later household records after she was married show her with the patronymic name Andersdotter. I cannot find a pencil mark that would let me change her name.

@kathleenhedberg The best advice I can give you is to attach the record hints, even though the children currently have the wrong surname. Once the error is corrected, the sources will display properly.
I know the engineers working on this would want me to convey their apologies for this ongoing issue. There have been many setbacks, but it remains a high priority and will be resolved as soon as possible.
