Access to Trees and Profiles, not related to me or my tree - Procedures Help Request
How can I help some friends build their trees?
I have a few friends (not family) that I would like to help with their initial searches. So if I find information on their relatives, I can send them the links, for profiles or trees, but how can I add that information to their trees? Not being related to me or my family, or related to my tree at all?

Within Family Tree, you can see records of any deceased people. You can link these to any other deceased person, even if neither is related to you. What you will not be able to do is link records to records of living people in another person's account as these are not visible to you. In this case, you will have to use your current method of advising your friend of the record you have found with its ID number and suggesting that they link that record to living people in their own trees.

But is there a way to help them growing/building their tree?

You need to have a place to start helping. So, get the ID of a deceased person on their tree and using the find function, go to that person. From there just starte building the tree as you would your own tree.

As implied, we do not have our own, separate trees: there is just one, huge Family Tree where we can work on any individuals / family branches that involve the deceased. The only problem that would arise is if you were to attempt to link your work to living members of your friends' families.
