f the old system was not broken, why change it? It was easy to use and remembere passwords.

For octogenarians, remembering passwords is difficult

    Family Search didn't ever remember passwords. It used to let you stay signed in for an extended period. Remembering passwords is a function on your computer either with a browser or a password manager. Personally, I use a password m anager.

    @Donald Scott_6 Being on the age+ side myself, I keep a paper list as well as one on my computer. I do not share my computer with any other household members. It also helps to date the list, as in "Passwords June 2025". This way, when you make changes, you can easily update the older list. PS all the computer saavy folks will tell you paper lists & saved to desktop are dangerous due to privacy and hacking issues. They're right 🤔
