Indexing error has created an impossible person

Hi, I've come across a stub PID that's been created off an incorrectly indexed record which needs remediation. Specifically Jno Clemer (GJHQ-QPZ).

The ID has been created off a death record for George Alexander Runkle (9488-V59) and lists them as George's female spouse.

However, when you look at the original record you can see that a) George Alexander Runkle was 1 year and 9 months old at the time of his death - too young to be married. And b) what has been transcribed as spouse: "Jno Clemer", is actually from the entry above George's entry and is the spouse of Dianah Clemer (possibly MTJ4-KVN but there are spelling variations).

I can amend the PID to reflect the correct gender and remove the erroneous relationship. But I don't know enough about the indexing system to amend the record transcript itself, and without that happening the record will continue to suggest that Jonathan Clemer was a woman married to a 1 year old child.

Anyone with that skillset able to jump in?

Never mind. I think I've figured it out. I deleted the erroneously indexed entry and created a new entry attached to the correct record. I amended the errors in the created profile and merged it with the existing and more complete duplicated for John Clemer. I hoping that resolves the issue. If anyone wants to check my working, feel free.
