Indexing error not fixed when I edit
I attached a source—1920 census—for Wilbur Dallas Hill L1VR-VJH. The census states he is 19 years old, but it was erroneously indexed as 10 years old. Yhen the indexing program must have done a calculation to say he was born in 1910. (There is no birth year in the source.)
I edited the indexed source to show he was 19 years old, but it doesn't change the calculated year. Is there any way to correct this? It is the birth year that shows on Source Linker.

I made changes that make him the proper age but I was unable to make the change on year of estimated birth. Is this what you are looking at.

@CherylMillerBlack You might have noticed that when you click on the dropdown arrow for estimated birth year the correct year is there, just not overriding the original calculation:
I will report this as an error in editing.

Yes, @sc woz that's what I was seeing.

FamilySearch’s system is a bit quirky that way. Even though you corrected Wilbur’s age to 19 on the 1920 census, the Source Linker is still pulling the original calculated birth year (1910) based on the mis-indexed age of 10. Sadly, that estimated birth year isn’t something users can fix directly—it’s auto-generated and doesn’t update with edits. Your best bet? Use the “Feedback” button on the census record page to report the indexing issue. In the meantime, when attaching the census, just don’t bring over the wrong birth year. Leave Wilbur’s birth as 21 Nov 1900 and add a note like: “Age in 1920 census is 19; index mistakenly listed age as 10.” That’ll keep his record accurate!
