Please help: meaning of occupation "scultete"?
Please help. What is the occupation "scultete"? Google translate from Latin to English says, "listen." Or, if what it is saying is "sculletus" it means "skull."
These are living people generally around 1800: occupations of godparents and grandparents of babies in Greek Orthodox Baptism records. The records are in the Carpathian mountains in the south of modern Poland, which at the time was called Galicia.
Here are two examples:

House 6, Rostajne, born 12 Feb 1819, christened 13 Feb 1819: Simeon Walko. His father was Teodorus Walko. The mother was Teodor's wife, Maria Kopcza. Godparents were Petrus Dawyd and Maria Pa?taczka. The latter was a peasant. The former was a sculletus. (Notice Petrus was also a godparent of another newborn, farther up the page: house 20. That forms a third example of this word.)
Any information or insights would be helpful and appreciated. Someone suggested a facebook page on Greek Genealogy but I am not on facebook due to their past record. Please help.
