Who do you contact to suggest that FamilySearch "film" or digitize records? Thanks!

FamilySearch would need to be contacted by the record holder—the church, city, county, state, or country that created and holds the records. In order to photograph the records, FamilySearch must have a contract with the record holder.

As Áine said, the Archive which holds the records needs to contact Family Search. https://www.familysearch.org/en/info/archive "FamilySearch Services for Record Custodians Since 1894". Contains an email address for Archives to contact FamilySearch, archives@familysearch.org

The following article from 2018, now archived includes the wording

"Connect with key people. Connect with record custodians and other key people who can influence or grant permission for FamilySearch to digitize records"

This thread from 2023 outlines the process in greater detail.
