Issue with fan chart links

When I view a fan chart and click on the link to any other individual in the fan chart, the linked result displays the descendants chart for that linked individual, rather than the fan chart. Is this an ongoing issue or a permanent change to how fan charts function?

Clicking on a person in the fan chart works fine for me. I hover over the area just below the person's name, and I see a little fan chart icon; I click on that, and the fan chart is redrawn with that person in the center position. Here's a picture of where I click:
I don't see a descendancy chart — I stay in the fan chart view when I do this.
Are these the steps you are doing, or did I misunderstand what you are doing?

Thanks for responding. Yes, those are the steps I'm using.
I now realize that the issue is happening with all types of charts. No matter which type of tree I've selected, the linked url's are all navigating to a truncated www.familysearch.org/en/tree/pedigree/ and ignoring the chart type identifiers (landscape, portrait, fanchart, descendancy, first-ancestor). Since my "default" tree type seems to be the descendant charts, that's what shows up. I tried switching browsers, clearing my browser histories and rebooting my computer but nothing has resolved the issue.
I'm running Windows 10 and the browsers I've tried are Chrome and Firefox.0 -
@Charlie Black I usually work in Portrait tree, but as I tested your viewing, I too found that clicking on that tree link in the fan chart takes me to the portrait tree. Interesting phenomenon.
Testing a bit more, I changed my home person for my tree (the one you get to by clicking on Profile > Settings > Account)to my father. Then the fan chart acted normally. I switched back to me and the fan chart seems to be behaving normally again.
Try changing your home person to someone else and then changing it back again to see if that will clear the behavior.

In my experience, the weird behavior with tree views happens when you have selected a home person who is in a Family Group Tree — even if it is yourself (the FGT copy of you). It works fine if you have selected any deceased person or a living person who is in your FamilySearch Tree (including yourself — the FamilySearch Tree copy of you).

Thanks for the observations. I removed myself from CET and from my only FGT and tried changing my home person but it's still happening. The only difference is that my "default" tree view now seems to be landscape.
Thanks again for the observations.0
