Can't Add Anyone

Trying to add a child to one of my family groups. Says person may be over 110 years old and to mark as deceased. The person is living. I can't add either way though …. living or deceased. Won't even let me just put in a name.

Hi @StephenDespot. That sounds like it could be a glitch. I would post to Family Group Trees Feedback so the engineers can take a look.

The living person needs to have a birth date on their profile.

@StephenDespot Check that you didn't transpose the year of birth. I found that I had done that on a work-related document, I typed 1793 instead of 1973. To my credit, I had been working in 18th century land records, but I glossed right over that incorrect year when I was logging the information at work.

That said, are you trying to add a child profile to the family group tree or add a child as a member of the family group and able to access the tree?
