I added a few people as ancestors that turned out to be unrelated. I would like to be able to delete them but there doesn't seem to be an option for that, or else delete my tree so I can start over. Can you advise ?

Thanks.

@CindiGould You would not want to delete people that actually exist. Your best solution would be to delete the relationships between the incorrect people and your actual ancestors. There is a great video on how to fix these types of relationship errors. It can be found at How Do I correct the Wrong Parent or Child in Family Tree?

Basically, click on the pencil Icon next to a child or a spouse in order to remove or replace that person in your tree.
