Create a way to search places and date ranges by historically correct names. Just searching Poland dosen't work. They were divide and boarders changed. It didn't even exist for 128 years. The Kashubians are a Lechitic (West Slavic) ethnic group native to the historical region of Pomerania, including its eastern part called Pomerelia, in north-central Poland. Their settlement area is referred to as Kashubia. They are a distinct group with a distinct culture and have their own language called the Kashubian language.

It would be helpful to put in a place and date range and search records in the historically correct place instead of being redirect to the wrong place for the time.

Searching a place with the generalized search term of Poland with the wrong name, the wrong dates of existence makes about as much sense as searching for the United States of America in 1000 BCE
