FamilySearch has no control over the speed of a new software release from another company. And MacKiev is based in a war zone. I hop you can be patient.

It is up to each company to fix their software to match the changes that are made to the FamilySearch API. Some companies just decide they don't want to keep up with the changes. MacKiev has offices in Kyiv, Ukraine. So, I would assume keeping their company safe and keeping themselves and their employees alive for the last 3 years has been their priority; along with all the other products they offer.

There is a YouTube video made by Aimee Cross which you may find interesting. You can find it with a Google search for Aimee Cross Family Tree Maker. The title is "The Latest on Family Tree Maker 2024". It comprises an interview with Duff Wilson and appears to have been made in March this year right after Duff had given one of his presentations at RootsTech 2025. He is an Executive Director of the Software MacKiev company, which is based in Boston, MA and has staff in various places, including Ukraine.

In October 2024, Duff was on a road trip to New Zealand, and I asked him about the problems with the integration of Family Tree Maker 2019 and FamilySearch. His reply was that they would be addressed in Family Tree Maker 2024 and that there would also be a fix provided for Family Tree Maker 2019.

I would have thought Mackiev's own support mechanism would be the place to ask about this, not here - FamilySearch just provide the interfaces (APIs) for other organisations to use (and, as I understand it, they provide plenty of notice and assistance when that usage has to be changed for one reason or another).

The Family Tree Maker product is not currently listed on the FS Solutions Gallery, presumably while the integration remains broken.

@MandyShaw1 In principle, I agree with what you say about using MacKiev's software support, and, if someone watched the video and believed what is said there, they would come to the same conclusion. However, a bit of Google searching will throw up some interesting discussions in Reddit, Facebook and probably other places which conflict with the video's contents. Maybe FTM users are posting here out of frustration.

As for the absence of Family Tree Maker from the Solutions Gallery, there was a question about that in a discussion quite a few months ago. Here is the response:

I have an answer about why Family Tree Maker isn't in the Solutions Gallery. When we moved to the newer code and webpage, our 3rd party friends were asked to provide some information to help us include their products correctly on our site. We haven't received this information back from all of them. Your asking about this prompted another request so we can get them added. Sam

That's interesting - thank you for trawling back through Community.

@MandyShaw1 In one of the previous FTM discussions in this Community, I asked about FTM's disappearance from the Solution Gallery and was told that MacKiev had not responded to a query from FS. Given the current circumstances at MacKiev's home base, that, too, is understandable.
