Verify Places & Full Name Review
@Ashlee C. Verify Places is all hung up - won't advance - I've already reset cookies. Full Name Review makes me redo the same names on the same page/document several times before it will advance. Any suggestions? Maybe too many users for Opportunities systems?

I have the same problem with Verify Places. As soon as I have clicked the SEARCH button on the initial screen and the first place is displayed, the CPU usage jumps to about 50% continuously. Editing the Standardized Places text is impossible. Selecting a place from the list or actioning an UNDO takes about 10-20 seconds to respond. The activity is completely unusable.
This is using Windows 10, Chrome and Edge browsers.

@maryellenstevensbarnes1 and @JulianBrown38 I see the bug with Verify Places. I'll send that in to be looked into.
I'm not able to recreate your issue with Full Name Review. Is that still happening?

@Ashlee C. yes, on VFN we still have to review the same names in same document location 2-3 times before we can get more names. Ex: I review 5 names (actually only 3 people) then the next 5 are the exact same locations on same doc page — here's one I did 3 times - somehow highlights don't go away when you finish so you're doing the same one over & over — also the zoom in & out doesn't hold in place sorry I'm not tech or jargon saavy —- @Julian Brown38 can better explain that connection - perhaps it is the Chrome — I'll leave this open on my screen in hopes you'll see it https://www.familysearch.org/en/records/improve/tasks?action=EnhanceImageRecords&language=en&placeCode=1&placeName=United%20States&task=Full%20Name%20Review&autoGenImageArk=3%3A1%3A3Q9M-C37X-4SLS-F

@maryellenstevensbarnes1 and @JulianBrown38 Are you still having problems with Verify Place Names? I just made it through several cycles with no problems. Will you check and report back?

@Ashlee C. yes Verify Places working now, as far as it goes. I work on places within the USA which doesn't have a button/choice for needing sources : Example

@Ashlee C. The problem with the Chromium-based browsers using CPU and network data has been fixed.
The other problem with the user suddenly being unable to edit the text or select an item is still there, both for Chromium-based browsers and Firefox. It seems to be less frequent than previously. It took several hundred SKIPs and NEXTs for it to arise again today, but it eventually did. I've just posted a sort of workaround to use when it happens in another discussion Verify places does not seem to work per instructions.
