I have a record from ArkivDigital that I can not read but I think it shows my Ancestor. I thought there was a way to get AI to read it? The record is 1746 Sweden.

The AI assistant on FamilySearch cannot do that, but if you post in the appropriate group here in the Community, one of the researchers fluent in Swedish can help you.

    Best of luck!

This RootsTech lecture was just fascinating: https://www.familysearch.org/en/rootstech/session/ai-powered-transcription-of-handwritten-documents-tools-and-techniques

One of the systems talked about was Transkribus: https://www.transkribus.org which is specifically designed for 12 different languages, including Swedish. I haven't had a chance to test it out with anything yet but it sounds pretty easy to use.

The community group Áine has a lot of very helpful users and you can probably get all the help you need there. But if you ever have long passages of Swedish to get translated, you might find one of the systems mentioned in the presentation very useful.
