This discussion has been ongoing for several years and there are many, many opinions on if it works or not and how much work it is to try and import a large family tree from Ancestry.com.
Here is a recent discussion covering your topic. Uploading from Ancestry.com to FamilySearch

The first question is, where do you want to import it to? There are 3 areas of FamilySearch that may be relevant here:
- The main, global, collaborative Family Tree (which may already have entries ('profiles') for many of your family members). Once the data was in the Family Tree, it would be editable by anyone.
- The read-only individual Trees ('Genealogies') created by users.
- The new initiative that introduces individual editable Trees called 'CETs' (see familysearch.org/labs). You have control over who can edit a CET that you create.
If you want to import a read-only Genealogy or a CET you will need to export your Ancestry tree as a gedcom first.
If you want to load information from your Ancestry tree into the main Family Tree (FT), you can do this by importing a read-only Genealogy via a gedcom and then using an automated comparison tool provided by FamilySearch to load information into FT. But this comparison tool is not necessarily sufficiently sensitive to duplicates to make it a sensible option. However, as @sc woz says, there are third party tools available through the Solutions Gallery, e.g. RootsMagic, which will allow you to pull information from Ancestry, compare it to FT entry by entry, and make appropriate FT updates, all without re-keying.
Please post again to advise which of the above 3 options you were thinking of, and also how big your tree is, and we can give you more guidance.
