Location Error Report: Cohoes, Albany, New York- 1860 Census
@SerraNola, the 1860 census for Cohoes, Albany, New York was labeled incorrectly. When searching that city, only one person shows up as a resident:
Everyone else from Cohoes show up as being from "Village of Cohoes, Albany, New York, United States" which is unsearchable. Example:

@GFre You probably noticed the place name written at the top of the census page is "The Village of Cohoes". That is how indexers recorded it and it's interesting that in the latest bulk load it was not standardized (which may not be a bad thing in light of the many hiccups in that process!) When the new treatment is ready to run it should update these "out of the ordinary" names.
Working around this problem might be as easy as using the next highest jurisdiction—in this case Albany, in your search criteria and filtering down with other known facts such as birth place or birth year range. If that doesn't work, click on the image for the one result in Cohoes, copy the film number, and put that in your search criteria. 225 of the 311 images on that film are for Cohoes.
