Ashlee C.

This is what I mean. That M should go into a Given Name field but it won't let me add a given name field so that I can drag the M to it.

I think then I'd just add a surname suffix box or anything else to move up. Also, I've learned that if I don't have the right number of boxes, I go back, hit no again in step 1 and check all the highlights. I erase any highlights that are doubled up on a word or just on a period or comma. Then I make sure each word I want is in its own highlighted box. I've only had a very few that didn't come up then with the right number of boxes, although some may be in the wrong field, given or surname on step 3. I just adjust them then. It seems like we just have had to learn how to trick this AI into believing we know what we are doing 😂😂😂

That's a really good idea, to just add a box for any field. Thanks so much!

Barbara Gail Smith: I just take hold of the blue box with six dots and drag the whole thing up to the given name fields. It will automatically move up there and become a given name. You just need to make sure you drag it above the line between the given names and the surname. Then I check to make sure the names I have in each box are for the highlighted parts of the name in the document by clicking on the blue box and checking which part of the name it refers to. Sometimes I have had to erase names in certain boxes to align with the highlighted part of the name it refers to.

I just had the same situation with this name. I just dragged the whole box with the T. in it by hooking onto the blue box at the side of it and dragging it above the line separating the given names and the surnames. It ended up like the picture at the top. Hope this helps. P.S. I just had a name where I dragged an empty Surname box up to the given name part of the screen and that worked as well. Then I typed my name in it.

So the name in the surname box will move even though you don't have a given name box to move it to?… Wait, I just tried it. It worked! However, it won't work when you don't have an extra surname box to move up. Thanks, LesterChristieAnn1
