Is Sharing a Living Profile Possible on FamilySearch?

My husband already has an account on FS and has already built his family tree. I tried to add his profile to my family tree, but since he's a living person it's blocked. I googled it and found that it was possible for him to share his profile with me via family tree settings but we can't find a menu where the settings is. Anyone knows if that is actually possible and where to find it?

Hi You are correct that in Family Tree, living profiles cannot normally be shared. Each user creates a profile for each living person they want to enter. However, recently Family Group Trees were added to family search. Family Group Trees allow sharing of living profiles. Here is a link to the introduction of Family Group Trees. Within the article, there is a link to additional infomration. Hope this helps.

@Mr6915 You may like to look at Family Group Trees, as recommended by Wayland above, which allow people to collaborate on living profiles while maintaining privacy.
