How many of you know of Families of ancestry from the Pacific Islands?
[ be sure to expand post ]
Here is an interesting video of how they are able to use microfilm and now digital technology to preserve their records

We Spotlight the Pacific Island Genealogy Group in Community.

Please pass it on to someone you know who may benefit from being a member of this Community Group
I also note we do not currently have a group for the Caribbean Island Area Genealogy.
I wonder how much interest there would be for such a group?

Thank you for sharing this @Dennis J Yancey. I'm sure this will help many working on their family history in the Pacific Islands. I think a Caribbean Island group may be interesting indeed. I unfortunately have no ancestry there, so I cannot speak for myself but I am aware that their histories and so forth differ from those of the South Pacific.
