Why does the AI make me review the same instance of the same name in a document mulitple times?

Even if I have already corrected the name and clicked DONE, the very same instance of the name comes up for review again, sometimes 4 or 5 times. Sometimes it is complete, and sometimes I have to re-highlight and re-attach names that I have already highlighted, attached and verified.

Often the same name/word appears multiple times in the same document so we need to verify/review each time the same word appears.

I've had that experience too. It's the same name in the same location on the document.

I agree with Barbara. Sometimes I will get the exact same name over and over and it's the same document, same place in the document.

Is this happening in both Quick Name Review and in Full Name Review?

I have the same issues as Linda, but I attribute those issues to me & my computer😊 and I've given up on Quick Name Review and stick to Full Name Review or Standardized Places in USA

I'll send this in to the team to be looked into. Thanks for bringing it up!

Ashlee for cursive documents I'd say its because of extra or unintended flourishes or ink drops that both AI and reviewers pick up as letters, punctuation, or words ie the extension of a line/flourish may be picked up as an s or a f or a d

I have clicked on the name of a Notary Public 51 times and counting (yes, I started keeping track after I had done the name 7-8 times. I don't understand why we review names listed on mine claims, mortgage transfers, deeds, probates etc multipul times. Why are we not doing biths, deaths, marriages. I don't see why they are not more important. I don't see where the former mentioned documents have anything to do with gathering Israel which Pres. Nelson has said many times that that is the most important thing to be doing now.

Perhaps the focus here is on testing/teaching AI using a range of types of document where names can show up anywhere in the text (where BMDs tend to have a more predictable format).

Maybe AI doesn't know the difference between transcribing (which is sort of what we're doing with names in mining claims and wills etc ) and indexing which I've always thought is a "finding aid" for linking family members in genealogies and family histories as well as finding historical/legal documents.

Why is AI highlighting words/phrases like Therefore, Whereas, to wit, acres, J Jones property line?

in both quick name reviews and full name reviews, should commas and periods be included in the names or eliminated?

    Punctuation should be indexed.

Commas aren't really part of a name and you have to remove them in step 4 when you correct the Given Name spelling

I have just had the same experience as Barbara and Lester. The same name, in the same location, on the same document FIVE times before AI decided the page was done. Very frustrating and discouraging when I have only small amounts of time to do names and end up doing the same name over and over.

I think what I'm seeing is that the same instances come up because sometimes they'll keep changing until they're highlighted and indexed correctly by AI after AI sees our corrections.

I think AI reviews everything we do 🤣
