How do I see both my spouse's parents in the Family Tree?
My spouse is a living person. His father is living, his mother is deceased.
His parents had a lifelong on-again off-again romance, but were never married. His father has had multiple marriages throughout his life, and his mother was never married to anyone.
I feel like I must have entered his parents incorrectly because when I look at the Family Tree from my spouse's record, I have to choose a preferred parent and can only see either his father OR his mother, but not both at the same time.
How can I make edits so that when looking at the Family Tree from my spouse's record, it shows both of his parents, and I don't have to choose one?
I have attached screen shots. When I look at the family tree from my record, I see both my parents (they were married). When I look at the family tree from my spouse's record, I must choose a preferred parent and can't see them both at the same time.
Thank you all for any guidance you can offer! I am sure I did something wrong.

Your spouse currently has two sets of parents: 1. Francisco and an unknown, and 2. Barbara and an unknown. What you want is one set of parents. To do this:
- Go to your spouse's profile page.
- In the Family Member section, copy the person ID for Barbara to your clipboard.
- In the Parents area, find the unknown spouse for Francisco.
- Click on it, and add the spouse by ID, pasting the ID in your clipboard for Barbara.
- Once Barbara is with Francisco as a set of parents, you can remove the parents-child relationship for your spouse with Barbara and an unknown.
Go to the Tree view for your spouse, and you should now see just one set of parents.

Thank you for your help!
I've followed your instructions and can see both parents above my spouse in the Family Tree now.
However, his parents were never married. When I click on my spouse in the Family Tree, go into his Person profile, look at the Parents & Siblings section, and click the edit pencil, now his parents are listed as Husband and Wife. They were never married. How can I remove the Husband/Wife relationship?

Notice that under Events, there is no entry so there is no statement that they were married. What I do in this situation is put an explanation in the Notes section such as "Never married to each other."
You cannot change those titles of husband and wife. So you have to make a choice. Have them entered as you first did and not be able to see them at the same time in the pedigree or have them entered as you now do so the pedigree is displayed properly and ignore those incorrect titles. That is just how the program functions at this point.

Thank you! I added a note that they were never married, per your suggestion.
