You can merge them into the correct tree, just find the tools section on the right side of their details page and select possible duplicates, or, if the duplicate doesn't show up there, merge by ID. (If you do the latter, put in the ID number of the duplicate in. The ID number is found under the person's name, and should look something like this: LC7J-MZP) Then, make sure the information is correct, transfer information as needed, and click merge.

Just a gentle reminder - there is only one tree on FamilySearch. If you have created duplicate profiles for people, you merge the profiles. You are not merging a tree, but possibly a small twig of the greater single tree.

Yes, it's better to use the term "branches (of the tree)" in view of there only being the one actual tree, as explained.
Adding to the advice already given, it should be realised that any Living individual can only be seen through the account of the user who created their (Family Tree) profile. So you won't be able to merge any individual marked "Living" that you might have viewed, say, through a relative's account - as they will not be visible to you when you return to using your own account. With deceased persons, the encouragement is to merge all those profiles that definitely relate to the same individual, but (due to privacy rules) there is always likely to be "hidden" duplicates of those of your relatives who are still very much alive.

@Michael35933 If you are the only person to have made any edits to the profiles you created, you should still be able to delete them. Any Sources or other info you've added be sure to move to the already existing profiles. Then again if you've done substantial work on the profiles you created, merging may be better option. Either way, gets you to the same spot
