FS Catalog entry points to wrong digital collection
Before the FamilySearch source attachment feature was really widely available with many attachable sources, I wrote this note and attached it to my ancestor as a death source:
FHL #1198928 Item 7, Kirchenbuch, 1717-1784 Evangelische Kirche Rodenäs (Kr. Tondern), p. 93, #15. Age - 72y, 35w, 3d. (Death record specified "Neud.")
Years later a record hint for this record appeared and I attached it. The record hint references the document image at https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:QPN1-HVVF?lang=en which is the church record for Rodenas, Schleswig u Tondern, Schleswig-Holstein-Deutschland. This URL gets me to the correct record set, although the page it points to is not correct (points to page 92 instead of 93), and more importantly, the collection name is wrong—Rendsburg instead of Rodenas. If I go to image 2 of this collection, I see the correct collection header:
However, when I go to the FS Catalog and lookup the microfilm number from my original source notation, here's the path I take:
So far so good—item 7 is the church book from Rodenas. It agrees with my original textual death source in every detail. Now, when I click the link, I am looking at a completely different record set, which is not the one I originally saw on microfilm, nor is it the one referenced from the record hint. While it is true that image 1 in the collection has an image of the film number—1198928—image 2 introduces a record set that does not match the entry in the catalog, above:
SUMMARY—To summarize the problems I see,
- The catalog entry for FHL #1198928, item 7 does not point to the correct collection!
- https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:QPN1-HVVF?lang=en is misidentified as a record collection from Rendsburg instead of Rodenas!
- (minor item) the page number referenced by the source link is one page off.
- If I go to page 1 of the collection pointed to by https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:QPN1-HVVF?lang=en it is an image saying "End Of Roll" rather than the correct FHL film number.

To report an error in the FamilySearch catalog

A slightly different issue, but related to the above is the fact that the indexed data associated with each page of this collection does not correspond with the collection. This can most easily be seen at
Rendsburg. Baptism Records , Religious Marriage Records , Religious Burial Records
image 1, which is a non-data image has a lot of indexed data associated with it. Same with image 2 of the collection. None of the indexed data seems to correspond with any page of this collection. At least if it is offset by a certain number of pages, I haven't been able to discern that.
Where should I report that problem?

@SerraNola is this one for you perhaps? Thanks.

@EarlMarshall if it isnt documented it didnt happen This was complicated but I think I have reported the errors correctly. Thank you for also alerting us to the index problem. The index for the film with Items 1-6 has been attached to the film for the records of Rodenas (labeled Rendsburg) and that will be reported separately.
