Question about a photo uploaded that was detached
Hello. An image was uploaded to the below cited family tree branch/historical person and was just recently removed by "Family Search." Since it was removed, I cannot absolutely be sure it was one I uploaded myself. If it was the latter, I was wondering why Family Search detached it sans explanation (it was of a heraldic shield)? In effect, I was wondering if I did anything wrong (the shield was completely pictorially innocuous and "G" rated)? Thanks for any feedback and potential explicative information. Is it still in your Gallery of memories, or has it disappeared from there as well? If the latter, FS may have restricted it. But if that is the case, they would normally have emailed you in advance to tell you about the situation and to give you a chance to discuss/object to the restriction, well before the memory actually got removed.

Thanks for the prompt response. After your inquiry I checked in my gallery of memories but could not find it. However it is still in profile or cameo form on this related person's page (https://www.familysearch.org/en/tree/person/family/G4DV-JD6). I'd uploaded it there as well weeks ago but deleted it from memories as I felt it redundant. I also re-uploaded the full-sized version itself to the person page above as an experiment and was successfully able to do so, with no problems, but deleted it again from the person's memory section to be on the safe side. Btw, I did not receive a notification via email as to the removal of the image from the profile page I cited in my original statement, just the notification one receives when anyone makes a change to someone on the universal tree one is following. Perhaps it was some sort of fluke or error, who knows, in any case, I wanted to make sure that the image wasn't removed for being controversial when it evidently wasn't as this would reflect poorly on my rule following. Thanks all the same.

@LudovicMarsillach I'd be wary of removing a memory because it matches the current portrait and thus appears to be redundant. A portrait can be removed or replaced at any time by anyone. There is no way to undo a portrait change, unless the previous portrait is still available somewhere. Even if it appears redundant, it can be valuable to keep a memory so that it can be selected as the portrait in the future. Also, only a memory can be included in a story (a portrait can't), so that's another reason it is useful to keep it as a memory.
