There is currently only one project in English to index, I have even looked at several other languages and there is no projects to index. Is it all being done by computer now or is there some sort of problem in FamilySearch?

It's been slim pickings for a few months now. FS will be switching to full-time AI at some point. If you're looking for projects to do, there is Billion Graves, Freedom on the Move, The National Archive's Citizen Archivist and From The Page. I'm currently doing Virginia Army, Navy and Marine WWII discharge records at From The Page.

That is sad. I have done almost 2.5 million Indexing and Reviewing. I usually work on it every day. I have seen stuff that AI has done, and it can't meet what humans can do. It may be faster, but not as accurate.

How do you get to Billion Graves, Freedom on the Move, etc.? Are they websites? I'm with Dale Erz. I'm only at around 760,000 and index every day, too. If it goes away, I'll really miss it.

I also do the familysearch app reviewing what the computer does and I sometimes how the computer came with what it thinks it is reading. It sometimes is typed clear as day and the computer is not close to the correct information.

Thank you everyone for your responses.

I don't know why there aren't any more indexing projects either. Somebody from Salt Lake really needs to be on this website to help answer the questions about Indexing. There are more questions about indexing than any other subject in this community. You would think that somebody from Salt Lake would or could tell us something. There are so many people who want to index, but can't because there aren't any projects listed. AI may be good, but the HUMAN mind is better and can do indexing a lot better than the computer can. The computer may be faster, but it is less accurate than the Human mind is. I hope that more projects come up soon because there are a lot of people who want to do them. It's just aggravating that this has gone on for two months now and no one seems to know why.

@lbsparrow read the information copied from @erutherford FS is switching to AI indexing and will be full-time AI at some point. …If you are looking for projects, Billion Graves, Freedom on the Move, the National Archive's Citizen Archive and From The Page can always use help. I'm currently doing Virginia WWII Dead Questionnaires, WWII Separation Notices and Tennessee Newspapers at From the Page.
