Error causing records to not attach
Hopefully this makes sense, but there seems to be a programming error with attaching records. I've only seen it happen when I have a marriage record of a woman, and I create a new individual for the husband based on a source. After the husband is created, I try to attach the record to him, and every single time it gives an error code of "Something went wrong. Try again later." The only way to fix it is to refresh the page, and then it attaches with no problem. It is only if it is in that order, trying to attach the source to a newly created male. If you create the male first, create the female, then try to attach the source to her, it does it with no problem.
I am attaching a video to demonstrate.

I have also experienced this. The work around is to change the focus person to the wife and then attempt to attach it.

It's been happening for awhile. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

Thank you. As I mentioned on another topic, FamilySearch suggested I post here since that is the only real way to "troubleshoot" instead of speaking with anyone that could fix the error. Hopefully it can be fixed soon.

@Ashlee C. can you confirm the engineers are aware of this issue please?

From my memory of my previous experiences of this is that, using Scott's workaround, you then have to add the marriage details manually. Without the current problem, this would be carried straight across when attaching the source. (When attaching a marriage source in the "more common" way of having the groom as the prime person, the date does not go across until the source is attached to the bride. I've had problems by using the groom first, but - as you realise - the situation is more complicated when attaching to the bride first!)
