How do I get the suggested county updated for transcribed Irish records?

I have ancestors from Lurgan registration district in Ireland and have ancestors' births, marriages and deaths recorded there. The records have been indexed by volunteers and they have recorded the county (implied) as Westmeath, Ireland. However, Lurgan is in Armagh, which is now in Northern Ireland. There is an area called Lurgan in Westmeath, but it's not a registration district.

The records (which were created before 1922) are described as Ireland because, of course, before that date the whole country was just called Ireland (and it was all part of the United Kingdom).

How can I get this amended? I cannot edit the record (the edit function is greyed out).

Given what I've seen, these are most likely not indexing errors, but the influence of the placename auto standardizing algorithm. It has run away with place names.

If you could please include specific example(s), @SerraNola has been following these up with programmers.
