What are we going to do now? Will this community even exist a few months down the pike ?
With Family Search going all-in with AI, indexing opportunities are drying up. There are already no projects available in Spanish.
I tried working on Family Review, which is just in Spanish and Portuguese. However, it is so slow and cumbersome, and full of bugs, that it's not fun any more. I haven't been able to get past 3 records on any image (but one) until the program crashes or won't let me go farther because of an impossible data request.
I'm considering quitting entirely. What are we to do?

Give it time. They're working on all the new methods in order to make the entire process move ahead more completely and faster. There are rough spots in the road, but there are still opportunities, and not just in FamilySearch.
I've seen other users in this community talk of various other ways that they participate in this work, and there's even just going to cemeteries within reach in order to catalog them. Or going to local municipal records in order to record them, as local ordinances permit.
