directory indexing
I have been indexing the names with res (residence) and h (house). Am I correct? On the current directory, if I don't include the houses, there will not be any entries. Help

When you have questions, its always best to give the batch code found in brackets to the right of the project name. It will look like this US—City Directories, 1820–1937 [Part O] [MQRP-FR7] [MQRP-FR7] is the one I'm indexing right now. The project instructions give examples of which names to index, if that helps 😎

Residents and houses have no bearing on what is indexed. If it says Smith, John (Betty), tchr Smith College, h123 Main Street, you will only pay attention to John and Betty Smith.
