Greetings, I received two separate email notices that indicate that two of my children's photos are restricted from the Memories page on my FamilySearch account. Please help me understand why they restricted. My children are wearing bathing suits in a beach setting and one in a home kiddie pool. My daughter is three years old and my son is one year old. The first notice was received about two weeks ago and the second was received today.

Thanks

Just as a further thought, FamilySearch isn't only used by Latter-day Saint members, nor is it only used in the U.S. and Canada.

FamilySearch is used in countries that have much more restrictive views of modesty than many others of us would be used to, and authorities of those countries will take action on pictures that most of us would never even consider to be problematic.

At least, that's part of why I, in my very humble opinion, think that we'll see restrictions such as what you encountered. Again, my own opinion on the subject.

Hi Please, follow the guidance in the emails you receive to reply to the email. In your reply email, ask the questions you have and ask for the photos to be reviewed. Just so you know, when photos are submitted, they are reviewed by computer. When you reply to the emails, they will be reviewed by a human who can either approve the photos and/or give you an explanation. So, just select reply to the emails you received.

I had 2 put into restricted state last week. They were both newspapers.com clippings, which are stated on their site to be legit to share. I replied to the emails accordingly and they were immediately unrestricted. Hopefully you will have a similar experience.

I've had my own proof statements put into restricted state. Some days the reviewing algorithm isn't up to the job.

Google translation of @Ricardo Walter Navarro's comment:

I've received restrictions on photos of my family members, such as "prohibited photography," to use a more polite term. The truth is that there are algorithms that aren't up to the task of distinguishing. They should review it.
