I accidentally attached my the wrong mother to my father instead of my mother

How do I correct this when I accidentally attached the wrong mother to my father and now he shows an icon with "Alternative Parent"? How can I remove this alternative parent and attach it to my mother instead of my father? Please advise.

Hi, You do this by going to the person page of one of the people involved, say your father, and delete the incorrect relationships. Then you can add the proper relationships. Here is a link to more details
