It used to automatically give preference to the marriage date, even when a divorce date was added later, or if a divorce date was there and a marriage date was added the marriage date showed on the person page. Now it puts whichever and I can't get the marriage date to show. See Howard Bailey Whittaker ( LBLC-PFK ) and Emily Helen Brown (LBNF-W5C).

Do you have a more specific date for the divorce? A date that is definitely after that of the marriage should I think make the marriage come up on the detail tab instead of the divorce.

In this case, the dates are showing that the divorce happened first (a plain 1931 is calculated to be before the specific 16 February 1931).

It appears that the 1931 is incorrect, anyway. A divorce record on Ancestry shows that the divorce happened on 30 March 1932.

But even if you weren't able to find a precise date, you could set the divorce date to "after 16 February 1931" and then the marriage and divorce dates would be in the correct order and thus the marriage event would be shown in contexts where only one couple relationship event is shown.
