    New Memories Gallery View

    Question regarding the new Memories Gallery view. I had it come up on my gallery when I open up the My Memories Gallery and then I clicked return to the old view to see the difference between the two views, but now I can't go back to the new Memories Gallery View. I can't find the option button to return to the new view which I prefer that is consistent. I can get back to it if I initially click on Overview or People and then Gallery. There is no button to return to the new Memories Gallery view. What am I doing wrong?

      @Jennifer Jackson

      I'm so sorry.

      If you look in the "How to use the new Gallery" (found on this group's home page), it does explain that if you selected "Previous Version," you will be stuck with the previous version. However, this will only last until the new Gallery has been released to all users. So I don't think you'll have to wait long to access the new Gallery again.

      And yes, there are a few ways to click around and get back into either the old or the new Gallery, but those are errors that will be fixed shortly.

      For now, several users have been able to clear their browser history (correction: clear the cookies for familysearch.org) and access the new Gallery that way.

      To clarify, it's not clearing the browser history that allows you to access the new Gallery again — it's clearing the relevant cookies for familysearch.org.

      Thank you both. I tried clearing the cookies and it didn't work for me, but if I click Overview and then Memories, I can see it in the new view. I look forward to it being released so I can have it permanently. I wish they would have made it acceptable to toggle between the two different views, or at the very least let you warn if you clicked to go back to the old viewer, you wouldn't be able to see the new viewer. Thank you again for your help.
