Chat contents disappeared

For several weeks from December through early February, I had an active 3-way chat on the FS Tree. One of the other participants is a distant cousin while the other is a genealogy friend.

We chatted nearly every day while trying to repair some bad merges on my early maternal line.

I noticed a few days ago that the contents of the chat have vanished.

None of my other chat threads appear to be affected - but that thread is still MIA. I sent a new message to the two other participants yesterday, hoping the thread might be restored if reactivated, but nothing.

What would be the cause and is there any recourse? Is the information stored somewhere?

Thanks.

@Áine Ní Donnghaile Have you by chance accidentally hidden this chat? Here's a help article that shows how to hide/unhide a chat. https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/familysearch-chat-guide#mute-hide-or-block-someone-from-chatting-with-me The article is long, so use the links in the article to find how to hide a chat.

    Thank you, @Ashlee C. , but no.

The chat group is still there - it just shows that there had been no communication among the 3 of us until yesterday, when I commented that everything had disappeared.

I noticed a week or so ago that everything was gone, and I let it rest for a few days, in case there was a short-term glitch.
