Duplicate Source Documents
While I do very much like the lay out of this Merge Screen, it is very easy to select the preferred names and/or dates and places, I liked the previous where you could edit the field desired field if neither of the selections were totally complete (i.e. death date without place, and death place without the date). By being able to edit the desire field to complete the information without needing to write it down and then edit the person page.
The more important point of this entry is when you are merging records and there are the same sources for both records. The only merging tool permits you to undo one of the sources so it is not duplicated. This tool does not permit that option. After you are through merging you need to go into the person page sources and delete the duplicates. This can be challenging, especially when you have several similar looking sources to the duplicated one.

@CarsonBruceW1 Thanks for your comments.
The previous merge didn't allow editing of conclusions, like in the source linker, but allowed choosing which conclusions to keep or have deleted. We don't currently plan on making the conclusions editable because merges is not the intended place for editing. Allowing edits will make understanding what happened to your tree more difficult.
As for duplicate sources, We'd love to understand why duplicate sources need to be removed?
We also would love you to give us a short description of how you use sources while in a merge, and if there is more source information that we could provide as part of the merge process.
