Does this 3d mean "the third"? Do I include it in the name?

This image shows both what appears to be a company (Schuster Edw Jr Inc) and its owner (Schuster Edw "3d").

I assume since the store is named after a Schuster Edw Jr, and the current owner is Schuster Edw (not Jr), this would likely be the child of Edw Schuster Jr, making him the third Edw Schuster, or, Schuster Edw 3d (the third).

If all this is correct, would this 3d go in the given name?

We do not index the "jr" or the "3rd" as these are suffixes and there is no entry box for the suffix. Thanks

Actually the General Indexing Guidelines only say to no include the suffix with the surname. They nowhere say that you should not include them with the given name.

Unless there is a suffix field, suffixes are not indexed. This has been the case with every project for as long as I can remember. From the Given Name Field Help (Instruction hierarchy is Field Help/Project Instructions/GIG.):

Do not include titles, terms, or suffixes with the name. Index prefixes in the Prefix field.
