Please take the scrolling material off the top of the indexing page

You've made another mistake with the Indexing page. First it was the chart, now it's this.
I can no longer come in quickly and press the Find a Project button right after arriving at the Indexing page.
It is very irritating to have to grab the right scrollbar to move the page up to get to the batches.
After completing a batch, if I return to the indexing page to select a certain batch, I have to move the page up again.
It is also distracting to see something moving when I am recording my stats on a text file on my computer, as I do every day.
It behaves very much like an unwelcome advertisement. My adblocker won't remove it, of course.
This new change will slow everyone down. We are capable of going to the Opportunities pages to view who we have helped add to the database. We don't need that presented at the top of the Indexing page.
It should be removed, or an option to close it should be added.
I use a desktop computer with a mouse.
Second problem is the new batch order. It used to be last batch saved would be the last batch in the list. If I looked at a subsequent batch, and decided no, I want to do the last one I saved, I could press the return batch button and the last batch in the list on the indexing page would be the one I was looking for. The recent batch order change has made finding specific batches impossible since the latest batch saved is now at the top of the list, and the rest are in the wrong order.
How about never touching this page to improve it? Or consulting at least 10 rapid indexers for advice before approving something? Most of us were probably happy with the way it functioned until the recent changes were made. After over 1 million records indexed, I can say I was happy with it.

Are…are you serious about this? Complaining that it takes you a few extra seconds to find something?

@LoisHoutman Most of the participants in this community are other users of FamilySearch. Other indexers, or researchers - we didn't make the change. And, as @erutherford, it only takes a moment to ignore that there is anything new at the top of the page.

Yes I am. My scrollbar on the right is small. I can't make it larger. I don't know why they would ever have duplicated information that doesn't change that much and put it on the indexing page. This should be a work page, not a moving display page with the biggest country map (always the USA), and a statistic that only changes once a year because it's 1/10th of a million. In other words, its a static figure. Rarely changes. Why be forced to see this over and over? The people you have helped doesn't change much either. Last year one woman's name stayed there for months. I check Your Impact fairly regularly, so I do see people's names that I have indexed. A simple link to Your Impact that isn't a pull down link would have sufficed, with those two pieces of information showing under it if they knew how to program that to change.
I don't see what purpose it serves.

@LoisHoutman Sorry Lois, I have to agree with the two comments above. I am approaching 300,00 indexes/reviews and feel extremely grateful for the opportunity this church gives me to do service to my fellow man. I have had to withdraw from this activity from time to time due to illness, moving, and personal health. I am always eager to return to it when able but I don't feel an anxiety to do it with any rapidity. It is not necessary to engage in His work on a certain time line as it will be done in His time.
