How do you correct and incorrect TAG?

Photo memories of submitted FS users are in, some cases, not correct.
How do I as a FS user correct the photo Memory?

Hello I've had a similar case whereby a user uploaded a memory which was relevant but had no title, date etc. I've understood that as it was uploaded by someone else I cannot either delete it or edit it. It was a memory added to one of my uncles and I do try to be as precise and exhaustive as possible with any information uploaded. I've sent a message to the person concerned asking that the details be filled in. In your case as the memory is not correct then you could add a comment to that effect and also try contacting the person who uploaded the information in the first place. In my case I believe, though not yet tried it, one can download the memory and then subsequently upload it enabling all the information to be filled in - does mean that there will be two images one with information and one without. As said I've not tried this and it does seem to be a bit cumbersome.

Thanks for sharing your question. It is a question we get frequently.
Yes, if you did not upload the Memory, you cannot Edit the Memory.
However, as @JohnBromby suggested, one of the best ways is to add a Comment. (Click on the Memory, which opens the Memory in the Memory Viewer. In the right side-bar, at the very top, you will see a dialogue box. Click to add a Comment.)
You can also try and contact the individual who uploaded the Memory…maybe they will be willing to help. (While still in the Memory Viewer, on the right side-bar, drop down until you see the "Contributed By" information. Click on the user name to find options to contact the original contributor.)
As a last resort, you DO have the option to DOWNLOAD the Memory. Then you can upload it again. It will be in your Memories Gallery, and you will have the option to insert the correct Edits. (Click the 3 dots in the header above the Memory image, then click "Download.")
Hope these ideas help!
